What polishes work?
So far all the testing I have done with various polishes have worked well. I had better results with clear polish or slower drying top coats than I did with quick dry top coats, but many have reported quick dry top coats working just fine for them. Be sure and check out the GIRLY BITS STAMPING POLISHES, which are formulated specifically for stamping.
If you have a highly pigmented polish that stains your stampers - it may stain the mat. We found 99.5% of polishes work fine so if you're worried just test a small part on the side to see if it does. The Crumpet also reports that when she had staining, it faded significantly over a few days. Magic? Perhaps!
Long Term Love:
Do not let stamper heads (mostly the sticky ones) sit on it for an extended period of time (more than a few hours) as it may cause un-doable bubbling of the mat. We found this happen when you let the flat part of the head sit on the mat overnight. We're thinking this is due to the oils that are found on some stamper heads.
It's 16 inches wide by 12 inches tall so big enough for whatever nail craft you'd like to try.

I'd been thinking of buying one of these for a while, but wasn't sure if it would get sufficient use or not...WELL...I'm not too sure why it took me so long to get one!
Saves on using paper (or plastic bags, paper towel, etc.) when doing nail art; allows you to test stamping, reverse stamping, colour mixing...the list goes on and on. It IS completely acetone-safe, and I'm more encouraged to make my own nail polish decals now (once dried, they peel off VERY easily & in one piece). It's easy to store, rolls up & unrolls without any problems, and extremely easy to clean.
